Location: Agapito Court at Mission San Luis Rey Museum
Details: All activities are included when you pay for museum admission.
If you want to attend multiple days, an All-Summer Pass is available for purchase at the museum desk for $10 per person.
Schedule of Family Activities (for Kids, 0 to 99):
June 25 and 26 - Paper Wisterias: Capture the beauty of our iconic courtyard by recreating the Mission’s famous wisteria through delicate paper art.
July 2 and 3 - Community Mural Project with Muramid: Help us create a vibrant community mural in celebration of the St. Francis Jubilee Year.
July 9 and 10 - Adobe Brick Making: Roll up your sleeves and master the art of building with mud—just like the original Luiseno builders of the Mission.
July 16 and 17 - Traditional Basket Weaving: Join local Luiseño weavers to learn about different styles of native baskets and create your own functional piece of art Reservations required for basket weaving.
July 23 and 24 - Hand-Decorated Windchimes with local artist Linda Kallas: Design and decorate a personalized windchime to catch the summer breeze.
July 30 and 31 - The Wolf of Gubbio: Step into the legend of St. Francis and the Wolf of Gubbio by crafting your very own wolf mask.
