Cemetery
Feel closer to loved ones, and to God, amongst the sacred Catholic grounds in the shadows of the Historic Mission Church. Founded in 1798, the pristine Mission Cemetery is the oldest in North County still actively in operation. All people of goodwill are welcomed. The cemetery is sacred ground with beautiful statues, fountains, manicured grounds, and above all - infinite serenity. No matter the reason for your visit, we welcome the gift of connecting with you.
We Welcome Your Visit
We offer families the convenience of holding a Catholic funeral Mass or prayer service, a burial, and a reception all here at our Mission. If you’re considering the Mission Cemetery for your family, take a moment to schedule a tour, and allow us to guide you through the tranquil grounds we have looked after for almost three centuries.
